Filippo Tortu will make his 100m debut in Gainesville (Florida) on April 13th.

The Italian Olympian is preparing in the United States in view of the European Championships and the Paris 2024 Olympics and is finishing the second week of training camp in Montverde, near Orlando, where he will remain until April 26, before joining the group of Italian sprinters who will fly to the USA for the Miami rally, in preparation for the World Relays, the global relay event that offers qualification for the Olympic Games.

Tortu, who trains with his father-coach Salvino, in contact with a group of sprinters of absolute value including the 100m world champion Sha'Carri Richardson and the 200m Olympic silver medalist Kenny Bednarek, has also put on his agenda a second outing for Saturday 20 April, distance and location yet to be confirmed.
