Tomorrow at 9 pm, at the Teatro Verdi in Sassari, the traditional Cine-concert returns, organized by the Insieme Vocale Nova Euphonia cultural-musical association, this year in co-production with the Cooperativa Teatro e/o Musica.
The 14th edition is dedicated entirely to the compositions of Hans Zimmer. The stage features 80 choristers and 18 instrumentalists from the Nova Euphonia Vocal Ensemble and the City of Sassari Student Choir, conducted by Maestro Vincenzo Cossu .
The program for the evening, "All the Worlds of Hans Zimmer," includes performances of pieces from famous film soundtracks such as The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Dune, The Last Samurai, Kung Fu Panda, Sherlock Holmes, Interstellar, and many others. This is the first-ever monographic project dedicated to Hans Zimmer to be held in Sardinia, and the largest choral project on the great composer's repertoire ever promoted in Italy.
Monday's film concert closes the eighth edition of the Festival delle Bellezze, which once again garnered acclaim at its various stages in various towns in northern Sardinia, featuring leading artists from the island's music scene.
