At the starting line “Cagliari Mistica”, the Il Crogiuolo exhibition in the historical places of the city
The Necropolis of Tuvixeddu will host the intense program of events on Monday at 8pmEverything is ready for Cagliari Mistica, the event created by Crogiuolo, included in the initiatives of Cagliari dal Vivo, a project of the Municipality thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture. An event that until October 1st will bring together theater and entertainment, but not only that, but also guided tours and workshops, with historic places that are symbols of the city, such as the Necropolis of Tuvixeddu, the basement of the Salesian Institute and the gallery-refuge of via Don Bosco, the Grotta della Vipera, and the stages of Casa Saddi in Pirri and Teatro del Segno in Is Mirrionis.
Places and stages that will intersect and host, together with important Sardinian actors and actresses, some important personalities on the national scene, such as Serra Yilmaz, Marco Baliani, Laura Curino and Renato Sarti. The Necropolis of Tuvixeddu will host the intense program of events on Monday at 8pm: on stage Deinas, by Clara Murtas, with Rita Atzeri, Manuela Ragusa, Gisella Vacca, Marta Gessa. Live music by Nicola Agus.
A synthesis of the myths of the Mother Goddess, classical Greek myths and their expression elements within Sardinian popular culture. It continues on Tuesday 26th at Casa Saddi at 9pm, with Venus in Fur, freely based on La Vénus à la fourrure by David Ives, inspired by the novel of the same name by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. Also on the 26th, but at 5pm, in the Vittorio Emanuele II retirement home in Terramaini, Logos de Arena - Tres amigus a giru in Sardinnia, by and with Rita Atzeri, and with Franco Baire and Gisella Vacca. Casa Saddi will once again be the scene of the show Cassandra Ventiventi on Wednesday 27th, at 9pm, a co-production Il crogiuolo – Botti du Schoggiu. On the 28th, at 5pm, we return to the Necropolis of Tuvixeddu with The Viper and the Cement, a theatrical guided tour with Giovanni Trudu and Alessandro Redegoso.
The itinerary is curated by Maria Spanedda of GAK (Kalaritano Archaeological Group) and Claudia Caredda of Trip Sardinia. On the same day, in the evening at 9pm, at the TsE (Teatro del Segno) in via Quintino Sella in Is Mirrionis, "Me&Amy What I would have liked to say to Amy Winehouse" will be staged. The Necropolis of Tuvixeddu will once again be the setting for Opposite flows on Friday 29th, at 8pm, by and with Marco Baliani. The following day, Saturday 30th, Baliani will present his book "Every time a story is told" in the foyer of the Teatro Massimo at 6pm. Returning to the day before, on Friday 29th the Rifugio Gallery in via Don Bosco will become the "protagonist" of Cagliari Mistica, where at 5pm a guided tour will take place by the Specus association, with also translation into the LIS language, in collaboration with Sardinia Sardens. September 30th is a day full of events.
In the basement of the Salesian Institute, another "mystical" place, a guided tour will be held at 5pm organized by the association "L'Isola che would like" (also in LIS language, in collaboration with Sardegna Sardens). Afterwards, at 7pm, the Underground will become the ideal stage for Memorie dal sottosuolo, by Giorgio Todde, with Rita Atzeri, accompanied by the harp of Chiara Vittone. And the Necropolis of Tuvixeddu will host at 7pm Contos and faulas, by and with Marta Gessa, a young actress who grew up "in the workshop" in the Crogiuolo under the guidance of Rita Atzeri.
But first, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, an archaeological workshop will be held in Tuvixeddu, organized by the cultural association “L'Isola che would like” (for a maximum of 10 participants; free participation in order of booking). The evening of the 30th will end at Casa Saddi, at 9pm, with The Sound of Silence, text and direction by Renato Sarti. The main core of the Cagliarti Mistica program will close on Sunday 1 October. Another day full of events, which will begin at the Grotta della vipera: at 5pm "The viper and the cement", a theatrical guided tour, starting from Tuvixeddu, with Giovanni Trudu and Alessandro Redegoso.

But first, a little further up, in the Necropolis of Tuvixeddu, an archaeological workshop will take place from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, conducted by the cultural association “L'Isola che would like” (free participation in order of booking for a maximum of 10 participants). And again in the Tuvixeddu park, at 7pm, the Gruppo Storico Teatro and the Compagnia dei Ragazzini di Cagliari, directed by the actress and director Monica Zuncheddu, present Visit of condolences by Achille Campanile, directed by Monica Zuncheddu.
To put the seal on Sunday 1 October will be one of the most awaited guests of Cagliari Mistica: Serra Yilmaz, Turkish actress from Istanbul, with studies in France, icon and muse of many films by director Ferzan Ozpetek, who made known to the general public in Italy with her unmistakable face and expressions, she will be at 9pm at Casa Saddi with Oriental Novelle, by Marguerite Yourcenar, translated by Maria Luisa Spaziani.
The event will then bring intense laboratory activity to some schools in Cagliari between October and the beginning of November. On 16, 23 and 30 October, a theater workshop will take place for the children of the Santa Caterina elementary school, curated by Gisella Vacca. A reading animation workshop, led by Marta Gessa, will be held at the Pini on the 18th, 19th and 20th. The same workshop will take place on the 24th in the Santa Caterina school. Finally, Legambiente Sardegna will host an environmental education workshop again in the Santa Caterina school on 25 and 26 October. To close, on November 5th Casa Saddi in Pirri will host the final results of the workshops with the schools.
