Confcommercio's advice for safe and regular purchasesThe summer sales will start tomorrow also in Sardinia, as in almost all regions, and will go on until August 30th .
According to the calculations of Confcommercio Sud Sardegna, the turnover in the south of the island is around 22.2 million euros.
Interested in shopping, about 238 thousand Sardinians, 155 thousand families who will spend on average - for each nucleus of 2.3 people - 143 euros. Each Sardinian, however, 64 euros.
Data that are similar to those of last year: "We expect consumption to grow slightly compared to 2021 also determined by the greater presence of tourists on the island - explains the director of Confcommercio Sud Sardegna, Giuseppe Scura - The sales still represent a breath of oxygen for the commercial sector . We must not forget the purchase in local shops, it represents the real support to our urban centers in terms of economic, environmental and social sustainability ".
Among the fundamental indications , underlines the association, there are the possibility to change the garment after it has been purchased which is generally left to the discretion of the shopkeeper, unless the product is damaged or non-compliant. However, the buyer is required to report the defect of the garment within two months from the date of discovery of the defect. While there is no obligation to test the garments which, once again, is left to the discretion of the shopkeeper, credit cards must be accepted as well as payments with the Pos.
The items on sale must be seasonal and susceptible to significant depreciation if not sold within a certain period of time with the obligation for the shopkeeper to indicate the normal sale price, the discount and the final price.
