After his performance on the piano of the famous "Libertango", Laura Escalada, wife of Astor Piazzola, in awarding Roberto Piana said: «I heard a Piazzolla that I hadn't heard for a long time, I was moved to see how alone he managed to do what it makes a whole orchestra." Roberto Piana will cross South America to the tune of Heitor Villa-Lobos (A lenda do Caboclo, Choro n°5, Etude n°1, Saudades das selvas brasileiras n°2), Arnaldo Rebello (A menininha da rosa, Valsa amazonica n° 3, Lundù amazonense, Valsa de Petropolis), Francisco Paulo Mignone (Valses de esquina n°6, Congada), Alberto Ginastera (American preludes n°4, 6, 8, 3), Julian Aguirre (Triste n°3 from national arias Argentine, Huella) ending with Astor Piazzolla (El gordo sad, Saint Louis en L'ile, and the very famous Oblivion and Libertango in an elaboration by the performer).

Composer, essayist and researcher as well as pianist, Roberto Pinana has published with various record labels (Steinway & Sons, Centaur, Brilliant Classics, Music & Arts, TwoPianists and others) and has performed all over the world at prestigious festivals, including Lang Lang International Piano Festival in Shenzhen in China, Chopin Festival in Poland - Duszniki Zdroj, Festival Newport in California, International Russian Music Piano Competition in San José and in theaters such as the Rond-Point on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Regio of Turin, the Scriabin House-Museum in Moscow, in the Universities of Stuttgart and St. Petersburg.
