The language is Sassarese Turritana and therefore the Teatro Civico of Sassari is ideal to present Beppe Dettori's latest album.
Sunday at 7 pm the singer-songwriter from Stintino will be on stage with his band, the narrators Eugenio Cossu and Mario Lucio Marras. Guests include Denise Gueye , the Zeppara group and Andrea Desole, waiting for other possible last-minute surprises.
“ Mind me ” It is a recording project in the Sassarese Turritano language for the protection of minority languages imagined by Beppe Dettori within the musical cultural association “ Sa Perbeke” . The album is composed of 17 songs, 15 of which are in Sassarese Turritano, one in Bittese (“ Bianca che nie ”) and a single cover, in Algherese (“ Daspeltata serenata Tereseta ”).
They play, sing and participate in the project “ Poni menti a me ”: Cristiano Caria (bass), Marcello Canu (drums), Andrea Carlo Pinna (violin), Peppino Anfossi (violin), Giovannino Porcheddu (vocals, classical guitar and percussion), Martino Roggio (acoustic guitars), Driven, ( Eleonora Dettori bass, Mirko Doro electric guitar, Giuseppe Fara drums), Zeppàra ( Tore Santona classical guitar, Battista Nuvoli vocals, Tore Nuvoli vocals and classical guitar). And also Giada Moschella (electric guitars), Angelino Delogu (vocals), Andrea Desole (vocals), Denise Gueye (vocals) and Pierpaolo Sechi (backing vocals).
In addition to singing, Beppe Dettori plays acoustic and baritone guitars, the harmonica and takes care of some of the percussion.
