Italy starts off with the right pace, in the Sardinia Dancing Week of sports dance, which until Sunday at the Pala Pirastu in Cagliari assigns three world titles of discipline and the European Latin-American dance.

The winners. At the first exam, Mario Cecinati and Rosaria Messina Denaro won the world title 10 dance, thanks to the best sum of the results obtained in the five professional Latin American dances (samba, cha cha cha, rumba, paso doble and jive) and as many standards (waltz, slow fox, tango, Viennese waltz and quickstep). Ten dances, in fact, which made the Azzurri couple - already world runner-up in 2018 and 2019 - successful with 135 points.

The podium. On the podium also the Croats Szabo Viktor and Vanja Vujic (128) and the Spaniards Jacopo Casotto and Patricia Martinez (122) in front of another Italian couple, Luigi Francescangeli and Noemi Oriolesi (115).

Today's program. Today there are competitions that offer the European titles WDSF Open Senior I Latini and Standard, Open Senior II Standard and the World Senior IV Standard.
