Two foreign authors will be featured at the 17th edition of "Florinas in Giallo," which will run from August 27th to 30th. The New York-based writer of Ukrainian origins, Ilona Bannister , will be a guest at the mystery and noir literature festival with her debut novel, "Five," which tells the story of five strangers caught up in a tragic event.
Sara B. Elfgren comes from Sweden and presents “ Cose di Famiglia ” ( Marsilio ), a novel of high tension, in which the author tells with profound psychological sensitivity a story of unconditional love and dependence, showing us how the greatest beauty and terror often lie in the bonds with the people close to us.
The other two "revealed" guests are names in investigative journalism: Roberto Saviano with his monologue " L'amore mio non muore " , taken from the book of the same name, and Sigfrido Ranucci - awarded in February 2026 together with the editorial staff of Report the first prize for television journalism named after Andrea Purgatori - who will give the Florinas audience his monologue “ Diary of a Trapeze Artist ”.
The Festival, promoted by the Municipality of Florinas and led by Mayor Enrico Lobino , is curated by Maria Luisa Perazzona , Emiliano Longobardi and Elia Cossu with the Itinerandia Association.
