We talk about women's health in the new double episode of "15 minutes with..." the in-depth talk on the health of the Cagliari university hospital in collaboration with the Unione Sarda group, which will be broadcast live on Tuesday 18 April at 5 pm on the social networks of the Aou of Cagliari (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter), on the website www.aoucagliari.it, on the Facebook page of the Unione Sarda and on www.unionesarda.it.

As always, viewers will be able to ask questions live. On Wednesday, readers of the Unione Sarda will find in-depth information in the newspaper's “Salute” insert.

Guests of the column, conducted by journalist Fabrizio Meloni, head of Communications and External Relations of the Aou, will be two experts from the Duilio Casula Polyclinic, Professor Stefano Guerriero, director of the Integrated Center for Medically Assisted Procreation and Obstetric-Gynecological Diagnostics and Dr. Bruno Piras, director of gynecological-obstetric emergencies.

With the experts we will talk about the pathologies and disorders that mainly affect the sphere of female well-being and how these can be significantly reduced through a healthy and balanced lifestyle but above all how important the role of perennial is.

In order to discover and be able to promptly treat various pathologies and to be able to deal with less invasive treatments and a faster recovery, there are some important tests that women can do, such as: the pap test, which identifies pre-tumor lesions on the neck of the uterus, to be done every two years or as advised by the gynecologist.

Other recommended checks to do are the mammography, to be repeated every twenty-four months between the ages of 40 and 50 and annually after the age of 50, and an annual check-up with blood tests checking blood sugar and total cholesterol.

Taking care of your health is a journey made up of many stages, the specialists of the Duilio Casula Polyclinic have been a point of reference for women for years.
