The gigantic Car of Santa Rosa brought to Viterbo by a hundred porters. The elegant Lilies of Nola. The sacred chariot of the Varia di Palmi. The dance of the candlesticks of Sassari. Four celebrations united by faith and for a decade become part of the intangible heritage of humanity registered by Unesco. Sunday 13 August at 7 pm, in the Sala Duce of Palazzo Ducale, the photographic exhibition "Reportage of Patrimonio" on the Transport of Italian Shoulder Machines of Nola, Palmi, Sassari and Viterbo will be inaugurated.

The exhibition will be open from 13 to 26 August from Tuesday to Friday from 10 to 14 and in the afternoon from 15 to 19, while on Saturday from 10 to 14 (closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays).

"Reportage di Patrimonio" represents a journey from the inside, into the celebrations of the Net through the lens and the sensations of 18 "community photographers" who have returned, telling them with their shots, the emotions of being inside the party with the Porters of the Machine of Santa Rosa, under the luminous tower that walks, under the soaring and elegant Lilies of Nola, with the little angels and the "sweetbread" of the Varia di Palmi, dancing with the bearers, under the Candelieri in Sassari.

Everything took shape from an idea of Patrizia Nardi, contact person of the Element and technical-scientific manager of the Unesco Project, and shared with the communities of the Network and with Claudio Bocci, president of the Culture of Travel association and under the wise guidance of Antonio Politano, journalist and photojournalist.

The exhibition has already made a stop in Rome, last year in September, in the prestigious setting of the sixteenth-century Villa Celimontana and the Mattei gardens at the Celio, as part of the "Festival of Travel Literature" and in Nola on the occasion of the Festa dei Lilies in June this year.

A project in which the Sassari photographers Virginia Denanni, Gian Michele Manca and Gigi Olivari also participated, coordinated by the Intergremio Città di Sassari, which also oversaw the organizational aspects of the exhibition.

The "Heritage Reportage" project was carried out with funds from Law 77/2006 for the protection and safeguarding of Unesco Heritage, with the administrative contact person from the Municipality of Sassari and the technical-scientific direction of Patrizia Nardi.
