Assemini, Puddu towards the reconquest of the Town Hall
When the ballot is almost over, the former mayor has a thousand more votes than the challenger Diego Corrias
Mario Puddu goes towards victory in Assemini . When there is only one section left to scrutinize, according to unofficial sources, there are a thousand votes ahead of Diego Corrias.
The former pentastellato in this round had presented himself at the head of a coalition made up of a list that bears his name, Reformers, UDC and Sardegna 20Venti: pure centrist.
Already in the first round he had collected more preferences than the center-right candidate, Niside Muscas (who had stopped at 31.06%) and the challenger to the ballot Diego Corrias (31.15% in the first round) supported by the wide field that goes from the Pd to the M5s passing through the socialists.
Puddu then runs straight towards the reconquest of the Town Hall which he had abandoned after becoming the first mayor of the 5 Star Movement on the Island.
The turnout figure is very low: 34.29%. There were 7,863 voters between yesterday and today until 3 pm.
