Mario Puddu 3,896 votes, Diego Corrias 3,211 and Niside Muscas 3,202: according to the official data released this morning by the Municipality of Assemini by just nine votes, it will be the candidate from the progressive camp, Diego Corrias, who will face the ballot on the 11th and Next June 12, the former grillino mayor Mario Puddu, at the head of a civic project that includes parties historically included in the center-right coalition, such as UDC, Sardegna 20Venti and Riformatori.

But the conditional is a must: at the end of a hectic night, during which Muscas and Corrias traveled paired up, separated by very few votes and at one point even in perfect parity, with the last section delivering the minutes to the Town Hall only late in the morning, 21 disputed ballots remain.

Tomorrow at 4 pm the electoral commission chaired by a magistrate will have to rule on the matter and decide whether those votes can be assigned to one or the other of the candidates in the field, thus confirming or reversing the current scenario.
