An important event in Arzachena, from both a cultural and a tourist point of view, yesterday's event saw the Culture Delegate, Valentina Geromino, and it is no coincidence that the Councilor for Tourism, Claudia Giagoni was also present, to inaugurate the Michele Civic Museum Ruzittu the exhibition entitled: “Please, it's not me! Four masterpieces in search of identity”.
A "temporary" (it will remain open until 23 July) of particular stature, which exhibits in the raised space on the first floor of the Arzachena museum 4 works by great masters of art history, Giorgio De Chirico, Renè Magritte, Mario Sironi and Gino Severini, while on the first floor works by 10 contemporary artists: Salvatore Alessi, Francesco, Altomare, Tonino Mattu, Juan Eugenio Ochoa, Nara Tomassini, Laura Muolo, Francesco Zefferino, Sinisha Kashawelski, Marco Corridoni and Marco Mattei.
An event that is a moment of cultural enrichment for the town and the nearby area and which aims in particular, says Geromino, "to make the younger generations grow up in a thriving and intellectually stimulating environment". But it is also a tool for promoting the "Arzachena tourist destination" which expands, as a further attraction, the already appreciable historical-cultural offer, particularly in these shoulder months which are April and May. Undoubtedly the main attraction are the 4 masterpieces of the masters of the art but the visitor is also particularly struck by the works of contemporaries. Artistic director of the exhibition is Walter Marchionni.
