The eighteenth edition of the International Chamber Music Festival concluded with the awarding of the Bosa Antica Prize to Bosa artist Mariano Chelo . This is a particularly heartfelt recognition, given that Mariano Chelo, along with the Festival's artistic director Jana Bitti and the President of the InterArtes Association Luca Virgilio , was one of the promoters of the "Bosa Antica" music festival and frequently hosted concerts and musicians in his art gallery in Bosa.
The 2025 Bosa Antica Award is a Sardinian button for shirt collars. One of the most iconic pieces of Sardinian culture, it was created by Gioielleria Vadilonga, which has been carrying on the goldsmith tradition along the banks of the Temo River since 1948. The award was presented by the Festival's patroness, Embassy Counsellor Silvia Costantini , and Professor Attilio Mastino , former Rector of the University of Sassari.
Sunday's evening concluded a successful edition that featured internationally renowned musicians such as Gavino Murgia, Ivan Rabaglia, Robert Mojsa, and Paola Bonora. Over one hundred students who participated in the Festival's courses and masterclasses also performed, perfecting their technique with the help of viola, violin, piano, and flute instructors.
