The "Paths of Art" are off to a flying start. The inauguration of the new installations from the Organica Museum project, created with the support of the "Places of the Heart" program promoted by the FAI (Italian Environment Fund) in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, was a success.
On Sunday, in the Bosco di Curadureddu , on the slopes of Mount Limbara, a large audience attended the official presentation of the works “Labirinto” by Antonello Fresu, a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst active in the contemporary art scene since 2004, and “Dodecahedron” by Federica Luciani, selected through a national invitation-only contest open to students of the Academies of Fine Arts of Milan, Rome and Sassari.
The presentation took place during a cultural trek along trail 401 of the Curadureddu Forest, near Tempio Pausania , during which it was possible to get to know the works and the valorization process promoted by the Organica Museum and dedicated to the promotion of the area through contemporary art interventions integrated into the natural landscape.
"For the Curadureddu Woods, being designated a FAI Place of the Heart is an authoritative signal that draws national attention to a peripheral and precious natural context like ours, confirming that culture, care, and shared responsibility can be produced here too," says Giannella Demuro, director of the Organica Museum. "Being recognized as a credible partner and an active participant in cultural production is a tremendously valuable step, an encouragement and a commitment."
