Rich calendar of events for the celebrations in honor of San Palmerio in Ghilarza in the month of July.

Among the prominent names in the evenings organized by the 1983 draft is that of Arisa, who will go on stage in Piazza San Palmerio on the night of 8 July.

As regards the religious celebrations, they begin on 28 June with the celebration of vespers at 7pm. From 29 June to 6 July, the rosary will be celebrated every evening at 6.30pm followed by the novena and mass. Vespers will be held again on July 7th, while on July 8th the masses will be at 7am, 8.30am and 10.30am, the latter preceded by the procession.

The civil celebrations open on July 5th with Ballu sardu and Amistade, the twenty-first Ghilarzo folk festival. The groups from Ghilarza, Atzara, Orosei, Santulussurgiu, Villanova Monteleone will perform in the evening presented by Roberto Tangianu. Followed by Fantasias de ballets. On 6 July Le Donatella Dj set (winners of the Island of the Famous), Jonny Dj set of the Zoo of 105, Resident DJ. On July 7th the stage will be for Diana Puddu, winner of The voice senior.

On the evening of Monday 8th the students of the Guilcier Barogadu Civic School of Music will perform while at 10.30pm Arisa will take the stage. It ends on Tuesday 9 July at 9.30pm with a Caribbean evening: salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton with the masters Michel Miranda, Angela Jauregui, Ayonis Lazaro and the Cuban group “Tumbao de primera”.
