Today begins in Carbonia a weekend that sinks into the mists of time: on the one hand the mysteries of the universe seen as the pre-Nuragic people would have done, on the other those of death interpreted by the Phoenicians who reached Sulcis 3000 years ago.

Today and then Sunday, archeology will marry in fact with the magic of the millenary settlements present in Carbonia thanks to two distinct initiatives that will attract crowds of visitors: the first tonight at 6 pm at the Cannas di Sotto pre-Nuragic park, where they are kept within the urban perimeter about thirty tombs dating back to 2000-2500 BC. The sky seen by the ancients is due to Tessere di Storia. Organize the Simuc, Carbonia museum system: it will be a journey among the stars to discover the sky from Ptolemy to Copernicus as it was interpreted by the ancient inhabitants of the Cannas hill. The astrophysicist Marco Mossa will be present.

Bis, but with a reference to the cult of the dead, Sunday morning and evening on the plateau of Monte Sirai where the Phoenician Punic citadel stands: it will be a thematic visit dedicated to the cult and rituals after death as they were put into practice by the populations of the sea that settled on the mountain about 750 years BC.
