Everything is ready for the official launch of Archeologika, a journey through a thousand years of Sardinian history with conferences, round tables, debates, discussions between archaeologists and scholars from all over the world.

The appointment will reach its peak on the days of 5, 6, 7 November next, when the various events aimed at enhancing the archaeological treasures of the island will take shape at the Cagliari exhibition center.

Eight experimental archeology laboratories, 33 sites represented and distributed in 33 municipalities, two multimedia itineraries: these are the numbers of the review organized by the regional tourism department with the Cagliari Chamber of Commerce. For the occasion, the exhibition "Nuragica" will reopen to the public, an immersive and multisensory journey through the history of the Nuraghi civilization, from obsidian to the Roman era, already defined as "the most surprising journey through time between reconstructions and virtual reality".

"The nuragic civilization - explained the councilor for tourism Gianni Chessa this morning at the presentation of the initiative - will be told in an informative but scientifically rigorous language, which makes the exhibition suitable for use for all ages".

"We must firmly focus on our immense archaeological heritage - said Chessa - to attract visitors to our island, not only in the summer but throughout the year".

On the ground floor of the congress palace, therefore, a multimedia itinerary will unfold through prehistory and Sardinian history: from obsidian to Roman times. The important vestiges of the past inscribed in majestic natural frames, often still hidden from the eyes of visitors, tell the island's history in an exhibition with an important scientific basis and surprising scenographic effects.

Then, for three days and for 6 hours a day, a series of conferences aimed at illustrating to the public the latest discoveries and the most recent studies on archeology in Sardinia. University professors, archaeologists and researchers will be the protagonists of the meetings. The conferences will last for half an hour each.

Access to the fair is free.

The list of collateral events is rich and interesting, which will also touch many centers in the area.
