Antonello Venditti was hospitalized in Rome and underwent surgery.

The reasons for the hospitalization and further details about the operation have not been disclosed , but the 77-year-old singer-songwriter is said to be in good condition.

According to “Il Messaggero,” the surgery is not related to the retinal problems for which the artist had already undergone surgery in 2022.

Meanwhile, fans can expect a return to the stage at Rome's Palazzo dello Sport on March 8, 2027, marking his 78th birthday, kicking off a new tour titled "In this world, the most human beings are animals."
