Another month (at least) of provisional exercise for the regional budget: this means that for at least the whole of February the resources can be spent in twelfths and it will not be possible to plan large-scale investments, pending the approval of the Financial Law. The latter will arrive by February, the majority assures. Impossible, the center-right claims. In the meantime, the executive led by Alessandra Todde has decided to give priority to the "functional" reform of healthcare.

The green light for the transitional resolution of the Executive Board came from the Budget Committee of the Regional Council, with only the votes of the majority and the abstention of the minority (councillor Alessandro Sorgia did not participate in the vote for political reasons). The measure will now be passed to the attention of the Chamber which must necessarily approve it by January 31.

"We would have liked to approve the financial maneuver by December but this was not possible as has happened for 8 times in the last 11 years", said the Budget Councilor Giuseppe Meloni, "the delay is due to the fact that we had to proceed with two variations, the first in July and the second in November. Measures that have kept the offices busy and have not allowed us to work on the financial law. The maneuver will be approved next week in the Council, the goal is to approve it definitively by February".
An objective that the minority, however, considers unachievable: "Given the technical times, thinking about an approval in February seems very difficult to me", said the deputy group leader of Fratelli d'Italia Fausto Piga, "it is better to immediately foresee a two-month extension. The discussion would be different if the majority presented a technical maneuver. Then we could think about an approval in a rapid time".
The latter possibility was categorically excluded by the majority. Both the president of the commission Alessandro Solinas (M5S) and the councilor Antonio Solinas (Pd) have clarified that the maneuver will be of a political nature in all respects. "The commission will proceed according to the provisions of the Council Regulations", said the president, "hearing the social partners and discussing any proposed changes".
