New stage of the project “Viva Live - Let's take back together the magic of live concerts”, and of its very rich program aimed at celebrating some of the most iconic and revolutionary figures of musical culture of all time.

Organized by Sardegna Concerti with the Accademia del Pop, Jazz in Sardegna and Jazzino, together with the Festival del Parco dei Suoni, with the artistic direction of Massimo Palmas, the new double event of the festival is scheduled for this evening, Wednesday 2 July, and tomorrow at 9 pm.

After the energy of Nine Below Zero, on the stage of InOut in Cagliari, come Animal Tracks, the historic British rock band formed in 1962 in Newcastle.

The band that will take to the stage in Cagliari, with all the scratchy sound they are capable of, boasts an extraordinary line-up that includes former members of the Animals and Animals II, guaranteeing an authentically live experience that will transport the audience directly into the atmospheres of the magical Sixty: from Steve Hutchinson (Keyboards and backing vocals), the longest-serving keyboardist of the Animals and founding member of Animals II, Animals III and Animal Tracks, Howard Baker (vocalist) lead singer of the Animal Tracks, an internationally awarded singer, Trevor Sewell (guitar and vocals), blues guitarist who has won numerous awards in Hollywood, Stu Burlison (Bassist) world-famous bassist and Paul Lindsay (Percussion), drummer and session musician among the most sought-after in Europe and overseas.

The Animals were one of the most iconic British bands of the 1960s, topping the charts in both the UK and the US.

Protagonists of the British Invasion, together with groups that have made the history of world music such as The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, the tribute band, on stage for two nights in Cagliari, promises a powerful and authentic homage to the legends, with all the timeless hits and the original sound of the group.

In the renovated location under the stars of the InOut, dedicated to live music, you will hear again the great hits that made the English band unforgettable: from “House of the Rising Sun”, to “Bring it on Home to Me”, up to “It's My Life”, “Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood”, “Don't Bring Me Down”, “We've Gotta Get out of This Place” and many other very famous ones.

An unmissable opportunity to relive the atmospheres of the decade that changed the history of music.
