Luvumbo will leave Cagliari in January, but the transfer market has nothing to do with it. The rossoblù striker has been called up by Angola for the next African Cup to be played in Ivory Coast, and will have to be absent indefinitely, until his national team is eliminated.

Angola will begin their adventure on January 15th, against Algeria. Then he will take the field again on the 20th, against Mauritania, and on January 23rd against Burkina Faso. At this point the journey could stop or continue with the eighths. The final, the deadline for the competition, will be played on February 11th.

Luvumbo will therefore miss the match on 14 January against Bologna and the following one against Frosinone . In the event of elimination from the groups, he could return to Sardinia in time for the match against Torino . It is possible that, due to the pre-tournament retreat, he will also have to miss out on Lecce -Cagliari on the day of the Epiphany.
