After winning over the Sassari audience with two sold-out performances at the Teatro Verdi, Angelo Duro arrives in Cagliari with his latest show, “Ho tre belle notizie.”
The Palermo-born comedian will be on stage at the Teatro Massimo at 9 pm from this evening, Thursday, April 2nd, until the day after tomorrow, ready to repeat the great success already recorded in previous stages on the peninsula in the Sardinian capital.
On Easter Eve, Angelo Duro will perform at 11:30 PM, following the regular 9:00 PM performance, to accommodate the hundreds of fans eager for tickets after missing out on the other performances. This fourth performance, perhaps an all-time record in the history of Sardinian theater, given the special day on which a very important and heartfelt anniversary is celebrated in many parts of the world, will end after 1:00 AM.
But Angelo Duro didn't think twice: no sooner said than done, not a matinee performance like all the other actors, but a late-night performance scheduled half an hour before midnight.
Away from the Sardinian stage for a year, and applauded by over a million cinemagoers in his blockbuster "I Am the End of the World," Angelo Duro, with his direct, irreverent, and unfiltered style, confirms himself as one of the most recognizable and divisive voices in contemporary Italian comedy.
“I Have Three Good News” is a show that mixes provocation and observation of everyday reality, tackling personal and social issues with the usual irreverent approach that has made the artist beloved by three generations.
The Cagliari dates represent a new test after the enthusiasm experienced in Sassari, where tickets sold out in record time.
A high turnout is also expected for Cagliari, a sign of an increasingly consolidated following.
But the news doesn't end there. After his Italian tour, Angelo Duro is ready to cross national borders: also in April, his European tour will kick off, bringing his show to audiences in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Spain—a feat few other comedians have achieved in recent times.
An important step in the comedian's career, which continues to grow and expand its range of action.
The event at the Teatro Massimo promises to be unmissable for fans of the genre and anyone looking for an evening of unconventional comedy that will make you laugh and think at the same time.
