On the pitch he never skimped on goals: 17 with the Carbonia number 10 shirt in the season of Excellence that has just ended. Off the pitch he is a master of Economics but the one with a capital "e" because alternating football and books, he brought home his degree in Economics and Business Management.

It was perhaps the most beautiful goal scored this year by Dr. Andrea Porcheddu, the 23-year-old left-handed playmaker of the miners, author of a positive championship together with his teammates: Carbonia should have recovered from relegation from Serie D and under Diego Mingioni he succeeded with dignity: the first round had even finished in fifth place. In the second leg, a slight decline after the atrocious Italian cup final lost on penalties against Budoni: the miners were ahead 2-1 until the 122nd minute of extra time, then in the series of penalties by scoring the fifth they would have won. But all this time,

Andrea Porcheddu, from Oristano, experience in Serie C with Arzachena, has not neglected his books for a single moment: "I must admit that studying is plan A of my life and football is plan B: since I was a child I have been able to reconcile both things, even when I was playing in the Cagliari youth team: the tenacity to study, the result of my high school years, was so strong that I happened to study in the car and clearly I went back to studying an instant after the end of training. It has never been a burden." At his graduation party there were the managers of the club (and all is silent for now on the possible renewal of the 23-year-old in Carbonia) and various companions: "We have created a good group, we are friends, we still talk to some now".

It is reasonable to think that Porcheddu, considering his important championship and technical prowess, is receiving offers. Maybe for a category jump. But the playmaker premises one thing: "Obviously I won't give up football, but I will continue to study to obtain a specialization".
