Yet another award for Andrea Arru would hardly be newsworthy, but it's certainly not ordinary to be honored on the same stage as the acclaimed Francis Ford Coppola, who also received the Golden Column this year.

The 22nd edition of the Magna Graecia Film Festival, created by brothers Alessandro and Gianvito Casadonte, concluded in Soverato, Calabria. The event drew a star-studded lineup, including Tony Servillo, Margherita Buy, Kim Rossi Stuart, and Serena Rossi.

Eighteen-year-old Andrea Arru received the Golden Column Award for Newcomer of the Year. Also honored was Margherita Ferri's film "The Boy with the Pink Pants," in which the Ploaghese actor plays the challenging role of a bully in a story based on a true story.

And that's certainly not all for the very active Andrea Arru. In accordance with Mediaset's goals, the new series I Cesaroni will air this fall, starring Claudio Amendola in the dual role of actor and director, and newcomer Ricky Memphis. Among the new faces in the beloved series, returning after 11 years, is the actor from Ploaghe.
