The highly sought-after Andrea Arru continues to divide his time between TV series and cinema.

The eighteen-year-old actor from Ploaghe has joined the cast of "Le madri di Lorenzo" by Elisabetta Rocchetti, a director who pays particular attention to social and family dynamics. Many remember her for her portrayal of Deborah in Matteo Garrone's "L'imbalsamatore," which won her the Golden Globe.

The film examines the effects and potential traumas that can affect a young person deprived of family attention and warmth. The story is told through the eyes of a child, and then an adolescent (Andrea Arru was chosen for this role), forced to be raised by a Romanian caregiver who completely replaces his mother, who is almost entirely absorbed in her career.

Filming will begin in early March and last a month. Meanwhile, Andrea Arru is also involved in the HBO project "The House of Gonzaga," an Italian-US co-production series directed by Gianni Costantino.
