Andrea Arru Joins the Cast of Margherita Ferri's New Film, "Piercing."
The young actor has already worked with the director on "The Boy with Pink Pants"

It's now a constant commitment for eighteen-year-old Andrea Arru , who bounces from one set to another, both in film and in fiction. The actor from Ploaghe still works with Margherita Ferri, who cast him in the role of the bully in the award-winning "The Boy with the Pink Pants," an uncomfortable but professionally rewarding role.
The film's title is " Piercing ." The cast includes singer-songwriter Thony, Barbora Bobulova, Giuseppe Colella, and Giacomo Covi.
Filming will begin on Monday in Bologna and elsewhere in Emilia-Romagna and will continue until December, with a stop in Switzerland.
This time the story oscillates between teen sci-fi and coming-of-age, with three seventeen-year-old friends who, after getting a piercing, discover they have superpowers and run away from their families.
