This time the sixteen-year-old actor from Ploaghia plays the role of the "bad guy": Andrea Arru will in fact be the school bully who torments Andrea, played by Samuele Carrino. Filming of "The Boy with Pink Pants" will begin on May 6, a film inspired by the true story of fifteen-year-old Andrea Spezzacatena, who took his own life on November 20, 2012 after suffering numerous acts of bullying from his schoolmates. Andrea's story represented the first case in Italy of bullying and cyberbullying that led to the suicide of a minor.

Due to incorrect washing, the red trousers that Teresa, Andrea's mother (to whom Claudia Pandolfi lends her face), had given her son were dyed pink. Andrea decided to wear them anyway, without thinking about the reactions of his schoolmates, which however came in a violent and continuous manner, culminating with the opening of a Facebook page called "The Boy with Pink Pants".

Teresa Manes discovered the existence of the page only after her son's death. And following the tragic event he dedicated his life to explaining to schools of all levels the dangerous use that is sometimes made of words, going so far as to write a book "Andrea, Oltre il Pantalone Rosa" (published by Graus) and reaching the Quirinale where, on 27 December 2021, President Sergio Mattarella awarded her the honor of Knight.

Andrea Arru is now a highly sought-after protagonist in cinema and TV: he has already starred in the films "Glassboy" and "Daibolik-Who are you?", and the Netflix series "Di4ri" and the Canale 5 series "Story of a good family" , as well as having participated in other works on the big and small screen.
