An elimination that does not hurt. On the contrary, the audience at PalaSerradimigni gave thanks to Dinamo for a season that started poorly but was then straightened out with the growth of a group that, under the guidance of coach Bucchi, managed to conquer the semi-final of the Scudetto and to make the enthusiasm for the choral commitment explode again and the quality of the game.

The only recrimination on the match against Milan is for game two, when twice in the final the biancoblù did not control the defensive rebound that would have led them to equalize or even overtake. Objectively, however, it is unrealistic to think of being able to beat a battleship built to do well in the Euroleague three times.

Of this season, the rekindled love between the team and the public remains, the consecration of Bucchi as a technician esteemed by the fans and the farewell to basketball played after more than 1,200 matches in the Dinamo shirt and a 20-year career each of Jack Devecchi (for him standing ovation also from Messina and Milan) and Massimo Chessa, who announced his retirement in the press room at the end of the match. Two wonderful people, one from Sassari and one "in ciabi" who, in addition to having won trophies with Dinamo, have represented an example and the moral backbone of the team in recent years.
