Amii Steward and Francesco Demuro sing for the Holy Land in Porto Rotondo

Music and solidarity in Porto Rotondo. On Sunday, August 2nd, at 8:30 pm at the Mario Ceroli Theater, singer Amii Stewart and tenor Francesco Demuro will perform , ambassadors through their art of the universal values of dialogue, brotherhood, and hope that are the very soul of the initiative.

It is an event of great human and spiritual significance: an evening of solidarity for the human and health emergency in the Holy Land , promoted by the Gallura-Logudoro Delegation, Northern Section, Sardinia Lieutenancy, of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.

As stated in a press release, "Not just an artistic event, but an evening of profound solidarity, in which music will be a voice of brotherhood and closeness to the people of the Holy Land who, in this dramatic moment in history, are experiencing the suffering of war, violence, and the deprivation of essential healthcare."

The proceeds will be donated, through the Grand Magisterium of the Order and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, to support urgent humanitarian and health interventions in communities affected by the conflict.

"In a land celebrated worldwide for the extraordinary beauty of its sea, the charm of its traditions, and the authenticity of its hospitality," the statement continues, "we wish to bring out the noblest and most profound face of Sardinia: that of generosity, active solidarity, and concrete support for those who suffer."

Gallura intends to convey a message that transcends all geographical, cultural, and religious distances. From this ancient land, rich in values and humanity, an appeal will be made to the collective conscience, so that the suffering of entire populations will not give way to indifference . A message of peace and hope that, through the universal power of music and charity, aims to reach the Holy Places and all those currently experiencing the tragedy of war, bringing them a tangible sign of closeness and help.
