After the sold out regional premiere of Tempio Pausania, Amanda Sandrelli's tour continues in Sardinia for the season of Great Prose organized by Cedac Sardegna chaired by Antonio Cabiddu and directed by Valeria Ciabattoni.

A reflection on love and life as a couple, between passion and habit, with “Vicini di Casa”, from the comedy “Sentimental” by Cesc Gay, translated and adapted by Pino Tierno directed by Antonio Zavatteri in an extraordinary co-production Nidodiragno CMC with Cardellino and Teatro Stabile di Verona, in collaboration with the Borgio Verezzi Theater Festival.

Together with the famous interpreter, daughter of two legends such as Gino Paoli and Stefania Sandrelli, Gigio Alberti, Alessandra Acciai and Alberto Giusta.

The play, which will be tonight, Friday 2 February, at 9pm at the Cineteatro “Olbia”, tomorrow at 9pm at the Teatro Civico “Gavì Ballero” in Alghero, Sunday 4 February at 9pm at the Teatro Costantino in Macomer and finally Monday 5 February at 8.30pm at Teatro Comunale “Akinu Congia” of Sanluri, compares the relationship between Anna and Giulio, who have been together for a long time and have a job, a child, some interests and many frustrations, and the fiery relationship of their neighbors, Laura and Toni, who, invited for an aperitif, bursts into their apartment and their life.

The conversation gradually becomes more "bold" and touches on burning and delicate topics, such as eroticism and while the guests reveal themselves to be even more free and uninhibited than expected, Anna and Giulio end up confessing fantasies, vices and secrets that they never had had the courage to share.

A meeting therefore in some ways surprising for the protagonists themselves, who find themselves discussing intimate and private issues, thanks to the convivial atmosphere and perhaps a certain dose of alcohol: “Vicini di Casa”, the Italian version of “Los vecinos de arriba ” by Cesc Gay, thanks to the success achieved in Spain, places the emphasis with irony and lightness on prejudices and taboos and on the hypocrisy of society in the third millennium.

In the Iberian country the film version, directed by the same author and director, obtained important recognitions including, in addition to the nominations and the Goya Award to Alberto San Juan as best supporting actor, the Medallas del Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos for best adaptation.
