After Russell Crowe , who will come to play with his band, another great Hollywood star is preparing to take the stage at the Ariston .

John Travolta , the unforgettable Tony Manero, is expected on Wednesday 7 February in Sanremo , as announced today in a video by Amadeus.

Travolta, who will turn 70 on February 18, has already been to the Ariston in 2006, at the festival hosted by Giorgio Panariello with Ilary Blasi and Victoria Cabello. It was the latter who interviewed him, and complaining of pain in his feet during the interview, Travolta offered to massage them: an image that ended up in the annals of the festival .

Travolta has Italian origins of which he is very proud. «My grandfather arrived from Sicily in 1902, my grandmother from Naples four years later» he recalled several times.
