The literary prize entitled to the memory of an illustrious Cagliari, Francesco Alziator , now in its 16th edition, comes to life.

And the appointment is with Roberto Giacobbo for Friday 29 April, at 5 pm, in the Maria Lai Room of the University of Cagliari in viale Fra Ignazio.

The well-known scientific popularizer will present his latest book, published by Mondadori, "Alternative History of the World" , interviewed by the anthropologist Ursula Ruiu.

In all these years Giacobbo tells of having met two particularly interesting categories of scholars : the first is made up of young researchers who, perhaps because "unconscious", confessed, albeit in a reserved way, to studies and discoveries that did not fall within the official standards; the second is even more surprising, because it includes great professors, luminaries, even Nobel laureates, who, once they reached the apex of their career, could "afford" to say everything they could not or had the courage to tell before.

Keeping a strict reserve on some sources, in this book the author highlights doubts and underlines hypotheses by accompanying the readers by the hand within this research that starts millions of years ago, from the origins of the Earth, and reaches up to the present day: passing from Homer to the pharaohs, from the Templars to the Divine Comedy, from Nostradamus to Nikola Tesla.
