“Alguer Wine Week” is back: the best of the local wine production on display

The Chamber of Commerce of Sassari, the Special Company Promocamera, the Municipality of Alghero, the Consortium for the Protection of Alghero DOC Wines and the Alghero-Olmedo Rural District, organize the second edition of “Alguer Wine Week” (3-6 July)
The event, organised with the collaboration and active support of numerous
local organizations, is dedicated to promoting the wine excellence of Sardinia and to enhancing the territory from a tourist perspective. It will take place in the heart of the historic center of Alghero, where the stands of the Consortia and their cellars from all over the region will be set up, ready to tell the story and the unique territory of Sardinia "Isola del Vino" .
Furthermore, in each of the squares that will host the tasting stands there will also be some stands of local entities involved in promoting the area and the stands of the Salude&Trigu chamber project , which will liven up the squares by hosting shows, cultural performances and folklore curated by the numerous associations that are part of the network.
The press conference for the details has been called for June 19th at 10.30 in Piazza Porta Terra, in the presence of the mayor Raimondo Cacciotto, Stefano Visconti, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari, Francesco Carboni, president of Promocamera, Gianfranca Pirisi, president of the Alghero-Olmedo Rural District and the Consortium for the Protection of Alghero DOC Wines.
