Following the successes of Fabri Fibra and Alfa, tomorrow, August 10th, Manu Chao arrives at the Alghero Summer Festival at the Ivan Graziani Amphitheater with his only Sardinian date of his Utra Acoustic tour. The event, sold out for weeks, is one of the most anticipated of the summer festival organized by Shining Production in collaboration with Roble Factory, the Municipality of Alghero, and the Alghero Foundation.
Manu Chao is an international force, a free and unconventional artist, capable of blending rock, folk, and alternative music with a universal language. With Mano Negra and in his solo career, he has written memorable chapters in music, inspiring artists around the world, including the young Alfa, with whom he collaborated on the summer single "A me mi piace," an Italian hit also on the charts in France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, and Austria. Over the years, Manu Chao has given unforgettable concerts in Italy, bringing together thousands of fans ready to share his music and ideals. His connection to our country is special: this year he returns for new live celebrations, with a repertoire ranging from "Mala Vida" to "Clandestino," from "Próxima Estación: Esperanza" to his latest album, "Viva Tu."
The evening kicks off with the energy and engaging rhythms of the Sardinian band Train to Roots. The event is part of the Spettacoli di Parole series, which features events where words transform into art: storytelling, music, reflection, and encounter.
