A total of 1000 visitors in two days for Villa Maria Pia, one of the most important buildings in the real estate heritage of the city of Alghero. Open to the public over the weekend for the 2025 edition of Monumenti Aperti, it was stormed by tourists and enthusiasts who wanted to visit the ancient agricultural penal colony, later entrusted to the Ferrara Colonization Authority.
