Alghero, the "Theatres of First Necessity" exhibition opens at the Civico

The Teatri di Prima Necessità prose season starts again tomorrow, Sunday 14 January and until 24 February, scheduled at the Civico Teatro "Gavì Ballero" in Alghero.
Four events are on the program in the event organized by the Compagnia Teatro d'Inverno with the artistic direction of Giuseppe Ligios and created with the patronage of the Alghero Foundation [META], the Municipality of Alghero and the contribution of the Region.
The new season opens at 8.30 pm with two one-act comedies presented by the historic Compagnia Teatro Sassari , a double taken from the work of the French director and playwright Georges Feydeau, entitled "From the window" directed by Mario Lubino, who is also interpreter together with Alessandra Spiga, and “La mamma Buonanima della Signora” directed by Alfredo Ruscitto based on an adaptation by Mario Lubino, also here interpreter with Alessandra Spiga, Michelangelo Ghisu and Paolo Colorito.
On Saturday 20 January, another comedy in two very tight acts with the new production of the Mogorese company Teatro Tragodia: "The horns are like heels, they soar!", a fun reinterpretation of "La Mandragola" by Niccolò Machiavelli.
On February 10th it will be the turn of Abaco Teatro with a theatrical adaptation of "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man", a theatrical transposition of the story of the same name by Fyodor Dostoevsky, performed by Tiziano Polese and the participation of Rosalba Piras and Antonio Luciano. Closing on Saturday 24 February will be the Winter Theater with the new production "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead" freely based on the work of the English playwright Tom Stoppard, a text that draws heavily from Shakespeare's Hamlet, however shifting the focus to two minor characters of the tragedy, the friends of the young Danish prince, summoned to court to investigate what ails his soul.
