In the MASE, the Museum in the New Tower of Porto Conte dedicated to Antoine de Saint Exupéry, the aviator's masterpiece will soon be translated into sign language . «The translation of The Little Prince into LIS (Sign Language) will soon be available inside the MASE of Alghero. An act of great sensitivity and attention that gives even more prestige to the Porto Conte Park and will allow the Museum to be enjoyed by an even wider audience in the near future». This was announced by the Councilor for the Environment Raniero Selva following the presentation in the State Library of Cremona of the translation into LIS of “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.

A translation that was missing and that was made possible thanks to the BibliotecAperta libri tra le mani project within the PNRR, funded by “Unione Europea – NextGeneration Eu” . This is the six hundred and one translation in LIS, designed in Cremona and carried out by the Associazione Guanti Rossi of Milan, which is on par with the six hundred translations in as many languages in the world, the last of which in Dulegaya, the language of the Guna indigenous people who live between Panama and Colombia, where “The Little Prince” becomes “Sagla Massi Bibbi”. The translation in LIS was presented in Cremona in the presence of representatives of the Air Force General Staff, the French Embassy, the University of Parma-DUSIC Department, Rotary Club of Alghero District 2080, Rotary e-Club Homaranismo District 2072, MASE Museum of Alghero, Porto Conte Park and Marine Protected Area of Capo-Caccia Isola Piana, Academia Cremonensis and Associazione Guanti Rossi.

Among the most significant interventions, that of Professor Fabio Perrone, of the Rotary e-Club Homaranismo, who illustrated how the Cremonese LIS translation project was presented and valorized in 2023 and 2024 through concerts organized with the “Saint Exupéry” violin in prestigious locations such as the “Mario Aramu” Military Airport and the Saint-Exupéry Museum in Alghero, the Musée de l'Aviation Militaire in Payerne in Switzerland and the Fondation Antoine de Saint Exupéry pour la Jeunesse in Paris, always obtaining unanimous recognition.
