Great success for the debut of the "Caddos in su mare" event, the pariglie on the urban beach of Alghero, at sunset, organized by the Sandalia association in collaboration with the S'Ischiglia di Bonorva association. Around 70 knights involved and 18 territories represented.

The parade was enriched by the presence of the Tramburini and Trumpeters group "Sa Sartiglia" from Oristano, the most appreciated and followed in all of Sardinia. The president of the Sandalia association, Cosimo Sechi, underlined the importance of the activity of introducing them to the world of horse riding: «We have chosen to dedicate the morning to the Baptism of the Saddle, the aim is to bring children and families closer to the wonderful world of 'horse riding and do it in the most natural, respectful and safe way possible."

The Baptism of the Saddle was curated and coordinated by Cosimo Guillot of the Il Grifone riding center in Alghero. Thousands of people attended the equestrian show on the 250 meter track.

The "easy beach" has also been equipped to allow people with disabilities to be able to admire the pairs in complete safety. At the end of the equestrian games, a huge job was done to clean up the Lido beach and thus allow tourists and residents to return to putting up their umbrellas. From Monday the beach will be usable again.
