A square, a street or even a place dedicated to culture for Pino Multineddu, author of many Alghero popular songs.

This is requested by the Cabirol association which, in recent days, sent a specific request to the Toponymy Office of the Municipality of Alghero.

«The request is based on the acknowledgment of a strong popular connotation of the works of Pino Multineddu, which still remain imprinted among the people of Alghero today», explain the cultural association. The song “Lo pescador a una ma” recorded in 1974 is very popular among residents.

«His voice - explains the president of the Cabirol association, Giovanni Chessa - remains for decades the symbol of that popular, true Alghero, and acts as a soundtrack to the old city and its social and cultural conditions not always codified in the more classical history of the Alghero song".
