For over half a century Elio Pulli has lived in Tramariglio, in the heart of the Porto Conte Park, surrounded by greenery and blue, surrounded by paintings, sculptures, furnishings and ceramics. The artist's bond with nature and the sea is indissoluble. But the master, who turned 90 today, would like to realize a great dream, an artistic project that he has been working on for years together with the Park Authority: a museum with all his works, so that they do not remain scattered, lost here and there.

The event “Elio Pulli: 90 years of history and works” was held at the headquarters of the Regional Natural Park of Porto Conte, dedicated to the painter, sculptor and ceramist from Sassari who boasts over sixty-five years of tireless production to his credit. The master is the creator of an artistic production of international level, he was in close contact with the main protagonists of the Italian twentieth century, he was very young, he exhibited together with Giorgio De Chirico, Fausto Pirandello and Renato Guttuso and in his long career he received an avalanche of prizes and recognitions. He could have chosen to live anywhere, but his heart took him to the countryside overlooking the sea of Capo Caccia. Here he invented the "Tramarigliese" art and passed it on to many young talents who frequented his workshop where wood, ceramics and iron were worked. A heritage that must not be lost. The director of the Park, Mariano Mariani, said this, also in the presence of the mayor of Sassari, Giuseppe Mascia, who intervened to celebrate Pulli.

There were also the director of the International Museum of Ceramics of Faenza Claudia Casali and Luciano Goddi, author of the Sardinian language version of "The Little Prince" or " Su Printzipeddu nostru" . In fact, the event is part of the special anniversary of the eightieth anniversary of the death of the French author Antoine De Saint Exupéry, a key figure in numerous initiatives carried out in recent years by the Park Authority, including the creation of the MASE Museum dedicated to him entirely dedicated. The connection to this anniversary is offered by Pulli's artistic exhibition inspired by "The Little Prince". The dream of a museum in the heart of the Park remains, a project that aims to combine the themes of art with those of sustainability and environmental education and to contribute to the training of young Sardinian artists.
