Alghero officially enters the Marvel universe thanks to an international project promoted by Disney Italy , on the occasion of the release of the film "Fantastic Four: Beginnings" , expected in Italian cinemas from 23 July 2025.

The Riviera del Corallo has been selected as one of four Italian locations of excellence, along with Naples, Matera, and Turin, to host an artistic installation that unites cinema, art, and the local area.

Representing Alghero is the Invisible Woman, a superheroine symbolizing wind and invisible energy . This is a powerfully symbolic connection for a city that has made wind an integral part of its cultural and landscape identity. The choice of location makes this narrative even more powerful: the installation will be positioned on the Cristoforo Colombo Bastions, which for centuries have guarded the city from gusts and storm surges.

The work, a temporary sculpture in the shape of a “4”, reinterpreted to evoke the movement of the wind, will be visible from today, July 17, until Saturday, July 19 , offering visitors an immersive experience between fantasy and architecture.

An initiative carried out with the involvement of the Municipality of Alghero and the Alghero Foundation, which confirms Disney's interest in promoting Italian regions through creative and international storytelling.
