The Maria Pia Amphitheater, named after Ivan Graziani, reopens its doors tonight on Saturday 22 July with a concert by Biagio Antonacci, one of the most beloved artists in Italian music.

Se io, se lei ”, “ Iris ”, “ Quanto tempo e ancora ”, “ I don't live anymore without you ”, “ Sognami ” are songs that have marked an era, that have anticipated, bypassed and enlivened the millennium, that resonate in everyday life because everyone sings them and everyone knows them, that tell stories of women and men who first were adolescents and then grew up under the banner of Biagio Antonacci's music.

The concert, organized by Insula Events, will start at 9pm with the gates opening from 7pm.

It will then be the turn of Gianni Morandi (July 30), Angelo Pintus (August 3), Zarro Night (August 5), Verdena and Zen Circus (August 4), Mannarino (August 11), Teenage Dream (August 12), Mr Rain (August 17), Dardust + Daddy G Massive Attack (August 19), Enrico Brignano (August 20), I Want To Come Back In The 90s (August 22).

Antonacci, on the eve of this evening's concert at the Maria Pia amphitheater, stopped in the village of Fertilia where a blood collection was being organized with a mobile blood bank from the ASL. The artist donated blood, greeted the volunteers and allowed selfies and group photos.

A gesture of great generosity that the singer wanted to post on his Instagram page also to set a good example in a period in which there is a need for blood supplies.

"You can donate blood, it can be done without problems," wrote Biagio Antonacci. «I understood it late but from today I will do it regularly».
