Alghero amateurs and Capoterra amateurs plunge back into the fray. After a long break due to Covid-19, the Italian rugby championships restart on Sunday at 3.30 pm.
Alghero amateurs. In Serie A, the Algheresi led by Giovanni Marchetto and Giovanni Cipriani fly to Parabiago, to look for the first points of the season on the “Rino Venegoni” turf. "Now we are identifying some new additions in the squad, also considering the injury of the second Capozzucca line, which will keep him out for a few months", announced the new general manager of the Catalan team Luigi Troiani. The home debut in group 1 (nine, with a resting team) is scheduled for Sunday 24, against Milan. The regular season will end on Sunday 8 May 2022, when TkGroup Settimo Torino will arrive at Maria Pia. The group will also feature Biella, Cus Genova, Cus Torino, I centurioni and Pro Recco.
Capoterra amateurs. In Serie B, Capoterra confirmed coach Alejandro Eschoyez. In group 1 (with twelve teams), we start again from the home field, in Via Trento, where Bergamo arrives. The last act of the regular season will be Sunday 5 June 2022, on the field of the Unione Monferrato. Also competing are Amatori & Union Milano, Cus Milano, Franciacorta, Ivrea, Lecco, Piacenza, Rovato, Sondrio and Varese.
