The fate of Sardinian airports at the center of the debate wanted by Psd'Az, in Alghero in the conference room of the Cloister of San Francesco, with many politicians and trade associations. Spotlights on the merger of the two northern airports: Alghero and Olbia , with the Region supporting the public presence.

«The extraordinary shareholders' meeting of Geasar and Sogeaal will meet on May 29 to define the merger - announced the regional councilor Antonio Moro, who spoke at the meeting - At the same time, the Sogeaal board of directors established the value of the public shares in the event that the Region decides for the withdrawal, the latter hypothesis which I rejected: the shareholdings are considered strategic and as such will be maintained».

The topics addressed fueled a lively debate between those in favor and against. The mayor of Alghero Mario Conoci is concerned about the right to mobility of Sardinians, "the main interest is not who manages, but that the services are guaranteed, even for those who are not Sardinian".

According to the regional councilor of Forza Italia, Marco Tedde , there must be no prejudicial attitudes to adopt, "we must be careful, it is essential that President Solinas takes the field to defend the rights of the Sardinians ".

Also present were Pietrino Fois, extraordinary commissioner of the Province of Sassari, Gianfranco Ganau, group leader of the Democratic Party in the regional council, Alberto Bertolotti, president of the Confcommercio of Southern Sardinia, Michele Cossa, president of the Special Insularity Commission, and Renato Soru, former president of the Sardinia Region.
