Airport merger, the judges confirm the stop: the Cagliari court rejected the complaint presented by the lawyers of Geasar (Olbia) and Sogeaal (Alghero) , who asked to review the decision to suspend the integration project between the two companies.

Now everything is postponed to the merits trial, which will begin in January. The judges of the section specialized in business matters accepted the arguments of the pool of lawyers from the Region - made up of Mattia Pani, Gabriele Racugno and Sonia Sau -, placing a "tombstone on the operation started by F2i" , comments the councilor for Transport Antonio Moro.

Now what will happen? «The F2i fund, which controls Geasar and Sogeaal, must be clear: we are not willing to accept that the Alghero airport is subordinate to the other Sardinian airports. If they want to leave the Coral Riviera, the Region is ready to do its part and will not hold back as it has always done ", concludes Moro.
