Reaching Sardinia for the Easter bridge has prohibitive costs: for a plane ticket you can spend almost 600 euros. These are the consequences of the changes to the tariffs made by the companies also with regard to territorial continuity.

Until May 14, Volotea will have the exclusivity on the connections between the Island and Fiumicino and Linate and has already revised the price lists: from April 15 to 19, all passengers - both residents and non-residents - will pay the maximum fare that corresponds to 190 euros each way. Same fate for those forced to travel for work, those commuters who until a few days ago enjoyed discounted prices.

Basically a free market.

To give some examples: on the EasyJet Cagliari-Milan Malpensa line, a return ticket departing on the Easter weekend and returning the following Tuesday costs 576 euros. For a Cagliari-Bologna with Ryanair you pay 457 euros, 352 for Volotea's Olbia-Bologna.

And then there is a full house to deal with, see the connections between Olbia and Milan on 15 and 19 April. In the next few hours the same problem could occur, cascading, also in the other ports of the island.
