"The madness with which the European Commission, with the defenseless and silent Italian Government, imposes a model of territorial aerial continuity on the Region of Sardinia, protecting only the residents of the island while for all the others (emigrants, workers, tourists) the obligation it is to venture into the jungle of the free market with prices out of reality without having a realistic alternative of means of transport, it is an unacceptable blow ".
This is what we read in a note released by Salvatore Deidda, Sardinian deputy of the Brothers of Italy. Deidda himself announced a question to the government, also co-signed by Mauro Rotelli, a member of the FdI from Viterbo but of Sardinian origins, and by his colleague Gianluca Vinci, a native of Arbus.
"Traveling around Italy - adds Deidda - I happened to find myself with crazy prices for a route like Rome-Bari but, fortunately, you can also choose other means such as train, car or bus. 'is an alternative. I have met the Sardinian emigrants from the Fasi circles several times and many are saddened that they can no longer afford it. Not to mention the second generation Sardinians ".
"It is necessary - continues the Fdi note - that, pending the approval of the proposed law of insularity, the Government and the Ministry of Transport adopt a provision to protect emigrants, as is the case for maritime transport, and for those traveling from and for the Islands: a tax credit, a deductibility of transport costs for non-residents in the Islands and a reduction in costs in view of the summer ".
