The agenda against the proliferation of requests for wind farms at sea passes to the regional council , but not unanimously .

There was no expected convergence, but the hypothesis of the blades in the sea did not divide, on which everyone expressed their opposition. The perplexities of many concern mainly questions of method , but also the role played by the regional government on energy issues.

The document commits the President of the Region to :

  • undertake every possible initiative with the Government for a moratorium on the issue of concessions for the installation of wind farms for speculative purposes
  • protect the sea as a recognized common good and identity of Sardinia for the benefit of the world and future generations
  • update the regional energy plan and draw a map of the sources that takes into account the specific characteristics of the territories, activating for this purpose with necessary independent studies and prerequisites

During the final vote Valter Piscedda (Pd) abstained , other directors such as Maria Laura Orrù (Possible) voted yes but had their signature removed from the document .

Stefano Tunis (Sardegna 20Venti) did not sign the agenda and left the Chamber at the time of the vote .

Marco Tedde (Forza Italia) also missed his signature, while there was that of his blue colleague Giuseppe Talanas .

The group leader of Fratelli d'Italia Francesco Mura instead decided to vote in favor only at the last moment.

Very critical despite the favorable vote, the director of the Democratic Party Piero Comandini: “The Executive, on such an important issue, should have played a fundamental role. I am surprised that we wake up today, for three and a half years the council did nothing : the energy decree did not come down from above, the council had plenty of time to discuss it. Sardinia is present in the State-Regions Conference but has played a marginal role ". Furthermore, he underlined, “nobody forgets that Solinas, in March, announced an appeal against the government's energy decree . What happened to the appeal, at what point is it? ".
