For the first time the centre-right obtains the absolute majority of votes in Abruzzo, with 54.67% of the votes, thus improving its result compared to both the previous regional elections (49.20%) and the 2022 elections (47.22 %), and this thanks to an increase in the real votes obtained, which rose from 294,879 in 2019 and from 298,620 in 2022 to the current 316,637, according to data from the Interior Ministry.

Symmetrically compared to past regional and political rounds, the centre-left forces that ran separately lost votes both in absolute terms and in percentages. But the big difference concerns the internal structures of the two coalitions , with a decline in the League and, more markedly, in M5s , the only element that allows for a parallel between Abruzzo and Sardinia .

As regards the overall turnout , the 52.19% obtained shows a slight decline compared to the 53.11% of the regional ones in 2019 and the 61.56% of those in 2014 .

In the September 2022 elections, 63.99% of voters voted, compared to 75.25% in the 2018 elections. Therefore, if compared to the 2019 regional elections and the 2022 elections the center-right has strengthened its consensus, the internal geography is upset , as happened in Sardinia.

Five years ago, despite expressing the presidential candidate, Marsilio, Fdi obtained only 38,894 votes equal to 6.49% , less than a quarter of the 165,008 votes (27.53%) of the League ; Fi was awarded by 54,223 voters, equal to 9.05%. In September 2022, Meloni's party (who was elected in the constituency of L'Aquila-Teramo) had already changed: Fdi first with 173,153 votes (27.67%), Fi second with 69,512 votes (11.11% ), the League is third with 51,764 preferences (8.27%).

The consensus recorded on Sunday still indicates Fdi as the first party, with 24.10% (139,578 votes), Fi second with 13.44% (77,841) and the League third, further decreasing with 7.56% (43,816), followed by 5.72% of the Marsilio list (33,102) and by the centrist parties.

As regards the centre-left, a precise comparison is difficult because five years ago in support of Giovanni Legnini, there were four civic lists in addition to Pd, Verdi, Si and IDV, while Azione and Iv had not yet been created. However, it can be noted that the most voted party at the time, M5s, dropped from 118,287 votes (19.74%) in 2019 to the current 40,629 (7.01) : the Movement perhaps paid for the 2019 gubernatorial candidate's move to Fi, Sara Marcozzi, and the non-renomination due to the two-term limit of some regional councilors collecting preferences. But the lack of local roots may also have had an impact .

Conte's party had obtained 115,336 votes in the 2022 elections (18.43%). The Democratic Party, however, did very well, almost doubling its votes, going from 66,769 (11.14%) to today's 117,497 (20.29%), while in the political elections it had recorded 103,956 votes (16.61%). As regards Action and Iv, the former obtained 23,156 votes (4.00%) electing a councilor, while the latter stopped at 16,275 votes (2.81%) failing to elect anyone. In the general elections, the two parties combined in the Third Pole were chosen by 39,295 voters (6.28%), i.e. practically the same as the 39,431 who voted for the two separate parties on Sunday.

In any case, the "wide field" parties obtained 262,565 votes on Sunday, less than the 301,917 obtained overall in 2019 (then, if united, they would have overtaken the centre-right) and less than the 291,967 obtained in the political elections by the centre-left, M5s and Terzo Polo.
